POTATO BOLOGNESE

Ingredients:
  • 5- 6 USA potatoes, buang kulit & potong memanjang atau bulat
  • 3 tbsp butter or minyak sapi ( atau minyak masak biasa pun boleh )
  • 1 bawang besar - dicincang halus
  • Daging Kisar - ayam atau lembu (100gm -300gm )
  • 125ml beef stock - or can used beef stock cube.
  • 3 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 pc of fresh tomatoes - cubed
  • Grated Mozarella Or chedder cheese
  • Mixed vegetables or any other preferable veges..like celery and capsicum
  • salt & freshly grounded pepper to taste
For the Bechamel Sauce :
  • - about 1 tbsp butter or ghee
  • - 2 tbsp plain flour
  • - about 50ml water
  • - about 150ml evaporated milk
  • - dashed of freshed grounded white pepper- salt to taste

Directions:

To make the Bechamel Sauce:
  • melt the butter in a saucepan....... slowly add
  • in water, milk , Mix well with a whisk . add in the plain flour
  • mixed the mixture well ..keep on stirring to prevent curdling ( bergentel )
  • and then add in salt and pepper.
  • Once mixture come up to a boil. off the heat.
  • Goreng kentang dgn butter , hingga kuning ..angkat letak kan didalam oven proof dishware . Tuangkan setengah bahagian bechamel sauce ke atas kentang goreng tadi .
  • Tumis bawang besar hingga layu , masukkan daging cincang ..tumis hingga daging masak , letakkan garam , serbuk lada putih , mixed vegs , tomato puree dan stock daging . Tumis dalam 5-7min lagi .. tutup api.
  • taburkan bahan tadi ( fresh diced tomatoes , daging cincang + bawang ) ke atas kentang goreng tadi .
  • Tuangkan remaining bechamel sauce dan taburkan dgn cheddar cheese /mozarella .
  • Bakar dalam oven untuk 20 -30 min ( 220 -250 degree oven )
