Ingredients:
- 3 or 4 pieces of beef burger - not the bun, the beef only and I use Ramly beef burger - diced
- 1 piece of chicken burger - same as above
- one onion - diced
- 4 to 5 medium potatoes - de-skinned and diced
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- 1 fresh cucumber - cut both ends but do not peel the skin off and make a criss-cross like chop (dont chop too fine, about 1/2 cm width) before slicing it for about 1/2 cm. You'll get a nice chunk of cucumber. Ah well, I am not sure how to explain it but the purpose is to get a nice chunk of diced cucumber, okay?
- 1 or 2 fresh tomatoes - put into a bowl and pour in a hot boiling water and cover the bowl with a cling wrap for a 5 minutes or so. Later on, carefully (it's hot!) remove the tomato skin. Then dice them as well.
- 4 to 5 tbsp of mayo or as many as you like!
- a few squirts of bottled chilli sauce - I use Kimball Chilli Sauce.
- a dash of salt, sugar and freshly milled pepper.
- a pita bread or any bread - the wholemeal bread is a better choice.
Method:
- Get your non-stick pan preferably with lid. If you dont have the non-stick pan, the normal one will do but you need to watch it more often. The lid is helpful to get the cooking done faster.
- Heat up the pan and put in the butter. Let it froth and dump in the beef, chicken and potatoes. Stir to let them mix well with the butter. Cover the lid and stir every now and then. Cook until it gets really browned.
- While the pan is heating up, prepare the cucumber and tomatoes. After they get all diced, put into a bowl. Add in mayo, chilli sauce and stir all the ingredients well. When the ingredients in the pan are all done and browned, add them in and dont forget a dash of salt, sugar and pepper. Mix well.
- Now, you can serve the filling with any bread that you like. You can add raw onion or salad too. It's up to you!
