Ingredients:
- 1 sachet of HALAGEL GELATINE
- 1 can of whole longans - leave whole
- 1 can of peaches - since I bought a halved peaches, I cut them into slices.
- 8 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 litre of fresh full cream milk
Method:
- Heat up a smaller portion of the milk on a medium fire.
- When the milk is hot (but not boiling!) pour one sachet of the gelatine and using balloon whisker, beat it up until the gelatine dissolved.
- Once the gelatine dissolved, put in the sugar and mix again. Add the rest of the milk and mix thoroughly.
- If you like, you can add portions of longan/peach syrup into the mixture to suit your own tastebud. Careful to watch out for the sugar level.
- Arrange the fruits at the base of your casserole dish. Pour in the white mixture. Let cool in the fridge overnite!
- You will love this yummy milky fruity jelly! My kids love it so much it was finished on the same day!
- You can be more creative with the jelly. Previously, I made a trifle with one layer of swiss roll as a base (or you can bake your own Spongy Cake) and top that with this recipes and finally adding a Custard Sauce as a final layer. Yum!!!
