Kuih Keria


  • 500 g sweet potatoes (keledek) ~ boiled and mashed
  • 6 - 8 tablespoons flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 3 cups oil for frying
Salutan gula:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Mix the mashed sweet potatoes with flour and salt to form a soft dough.
  • Shape it like a ring (like donuts).
  • Fry till golden brown. Take out and put on the kitchen towel.
  • To coat, mix water and sugar. Put in a pan on medium heat and let it reach a sticky consistency.
  • Add in the fried rings and stir to coat evenly.
